About our Geelong farm & event venue

Established in the 1850s and like many farms in the area, Rocklea Farm helped fuel the wool trade – historically one of Geelong’s primary industries.

Still, a working farm today, Rocklea Farm covers 80 acres of active sheep grazing, pasture raised chickens for their free range eggs and now more recently, one of Geelong’s up and coming  wedding and event venues.

Current owners, Dave and Glen, purchased the property in 2013 and renovated the early 1900’s farmhouse for their three children with the hope of their children enjoying a similar upbringing to Dave who experienced a wonderful childhood on a sugar cane farm in far North Queensland.

After sinking their teeth into the family home renovation, there was always a burning desire to re-invigorate the farm by creating a stunning rustic wedding and event venue. With the team also set to expand in to offering luxury glamping accommodation at the Geelong farm.

With the hopes of not only hosting beautiful barn style weddings at the Geelong farm, but also bringing the community together with monthly artisan courses and workshops run by local culinary experts, the farm will continue the rich legacy of trade and industry through support of local suppliers and producers.

At full maturity, Rocklea Farm will be a place of creative collaboration and celebrations bringing family friends and loved ones together with old fashioned hospitality. We are also a venue for corporate events, birthday parties, engagement parties and a range of other events.
