Barn Wedding and Event Venue Geelong

Since the first shovel went into the ground 12 months ago, there has been a lot of talk and speculation about the ‘new kids’ on the block, Rocklea Farm. 

As Geelong’s newest barn wedding and event venue, we have had to make sure that we not only match the exceptional calibre of the wedding and event venues already on offer in the region yet also innovate and offer our potential couples something they can’t get anywhere else. 

With a lot of financial investment, time and a whole of love, we threw open our doors on May 17th for the official Open House. 

Suppliers, couples and friends (and those just wanting a sneak peek!) all who had one thing in common, passion for a barn wedding and event venue close to Geelong, came along to help celebrate a momentous night. 

The vibe of the night was thrilling with the barn glowing amber from the gorgeous lighting, the courtyard buzzing with possibility, soulful live music, yummy muddled cocktails and plenty of laughs. We feel this completely embodied who we are and what we want to offer the weddings and events space in Geelong; ‘relaxed luxury vibes’. 

When a project becomes all consuming of your life, it is such a satisfying feeling to hear the positive feedback we received on the night, and for the days following, on all the boxes we have ticked. 

In particular, hearing from our suppliers and couples who have visited many venues, being told that we had ‘thought of everything’ really made the long days and nights and all the initial doubt well worth it. 

As we move from taking our first bookings ( we are almost booked out for wedding season 2020); we look forward to continuing to evolve the venue and grow with our gorgeous supporters.
